My approach to early learning to early learning is simple: children learn best through play that follows their real interests, in environments that feel safe, warm and joyful. I focus on developmentally appropriate practice and best-practice strategies, not “mini big kid” expectations. Instead of rewards and punishments, I prioritize real human connections, responsive care, and everyday routines that support healthy brain development.

Coaching and Technical Assistance

One-on-one virtual or in person coaching, gives you a calm, confidential space to talk through real classroom challenges and try small, doable shifts that fit your setting.

Common coaching focuses include environmental rating scales, licensing rules and regulations, developmentally appropriate best practices, trauma informed care, challenging behavior, curriculum and lesson planning and family engagement.

Professional Development

Professional development that feels practical, interactive, and respectful of your time. I design trauma-sensitive trainings that turn best practice into clear, realistic strategies your team can use right away, with space to connect the content to your actual classrooms and program goals.

As an NCDEE approved trainer I can also offer: ITS SIDS, Playground Safety, EPR and others.

Educator Support

Support for Educator well-being that feels realistic, not one more thing on your to-do list. Together we’ll look at boundaries, routines and small shifts that help you protect your energy, prevent burnout, and stay connected to the reasons you started this work.

CLASS Support that keeps the focus on real relationships, not perfect scores. I offer observations, feedback and planning grounded in CLASS so you can strengthen teacher child interactions in ways that feel doable for your classrooms and aligned with your program goals.
